SUMMARY:   Reporting to a Plant DIrector, with a dotted-line to corporate Human Resources, this position will provide overall Human Resource Generalist support to a 300 employee, non-union facility.  In addition the position will have shared responsiblity for the facility Safety Program.  The position will have a subordinate staff 3  (Generalist, Recruiter and Admin).  The position could require occasional travel.  The ideal candidate will be open to future relocation for career growth.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  BS/BA degree, with 7-10 years overall Human Resource generalist experience, including several years at the Manager level.  MUST have experience in a manufacturing or similar plant environment.  Requires hands-on experience in: Employee Relations (with an emphasis on positive emplyee engagement); training & development; knowledge of process improvement initiatives (5S, SIx Sigma, LEAN, etc); staffing; compensation & benefits administration; change management; performance managment; plant safety programs; compliance (EEOC, FMLA, ADA, etc).   Must have strong influencing, faciliation & communications skills and a demonstrated ability to work both strategic and tactical aspects of the HR function as a business partner with the mangement team.  Computer proficiency with Office Suite of tools and HRIS (client uses PeopleSoft).  Bilingual skills in English/Spanish a strong plus.
