POSITION: Executive Leadership Development Consultant

COMPENSATION: $70-80K Base during 4-6 months training/orientation (then Base + Incentives with potential to earn $130K-200K+)

SUMMARY:  This is a developmental, succession planning position  with a small, specialized executive & leadership development consulting organization based in Houston.   The individual will be involved in the utilization of a proprietary leadership and style assessment tool, working with client senior management and executives in order to identify motivation, communication and diverse strenths and weaknesses within their organizations; identify individual strengths and weaknesses; develop synergistic performance within the client work groups; identify differing expectations and needs that impact group performance and dynamics.  In addition, conduct a  one-on-one leadership program for senior managers and executives focused on identifying  specific strengths & weaknesses; identifying inerersonal issues that block productivity; develop insights into complex situations that are personality/style related and develop specific development plans.   This position will require an average of 80% travel, primarily domestic and this travel will be ongoing.
The compensation plan is a base salary for the first several months of training and orientation and once an individual is ready to step into hands-on client consulting, they will move into a base + incentive program that is based on direct projects/ hours billed to clients.   A productive consultant typically has earning potential in $130K to over $200K range.
The position must be based in Houston and cannot work virtual from another location.
 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  Masters degree, PhD a plus,  with 8-10 years experience, ideally in Organizational Development, Mangement/Leadership Development or Human Resources, ideally with a process-consultation orientation/focus.   Must have/develop  the ability to identify potential clients and sell/market consulting services .   Requires: demonstrated ability to work at senior levels; strong comunications, influencing and facilitation ability; diagnostic/analytical skills; ability to create and execute a personal marketing & sales plan; ability to  work independently; strong presentation/speaking skills.
