SUMMARY: Reporting to a Manager, Human Resources, this position will help provide overall Human Resource generalist support to a 550 employee exploration and production operation in central California. The client base is comprised of engineers, geologists, geophysicists, field operators and support staff. The position will require between the Bakersfield office and field operations locations in the area. Ideal candidate would be open to later relocation for career growth.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BS/BA, Masters, PHR/SPHR a plus, with 5-8 years Human Resource generalist experience, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical or a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CA labor law a plus. Experience should include strong focus on: employee relations; analytical and problem solving skills; ability to work at all organizational levels; change management; solid verbal and written communications ability; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/projects; excellent influencing & faciltiation skills. Must be proficient with Office Suite of tools and HRIS.
