LOCATION:	Convent, LA (S. Central Louisiana)

COMPENSATION:	$95-115K + Bonus

SUMMARY:  Reporting to a Plant Manager, this is a hands-on Human Resources position in a 200+ employee, non-union plant, with responsibility to provide overall Generalist support to the facility, including:  Employee Relations; Recruiting; Training; Compensation & Benefits adminstration (corporate driven); Plant Medical (including drug/alcohol testing); Employee Assistance Program and Compliance.    Ideal candidate will be open to relocation for career growth and development.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  BS/BA degree, Masters a plus, with 8-10 years overall Human Resource generalist background (solid tenure) including significant experience in a plant environment (chemicals, manufacturing, etc).  Requires hands on experience in:  Employee Relations, Staffing, Training, C&B, Compliance, Medical (drug/alcohol testing) and involvement with plant Safety & Security Programs.
Strong communications (verbal/written), influencing and consultative skills.  Change management and process improvement skills.
Computer proficiency with Office Suite of tools and HRIS.
