SUMMARY:  Reporting to a Director, Human Resources at the corporate level, the position will have responsibility to provide Human Resource support and direction to multiple field/plant locations, including:  development and implementation of HR programs, policies and processes;  interaction with HR Shared Services groups (C&B, Staffing, Payroll, HRIS) to insure appropriate services and for continuous improvement; interaction with other corporate groups (Health & Safety, Legal, Medical, Supply Chain, Legal, etc.); provide due diligence support for potential acquisitions and post-acquisition integration; provide coordination with other HR functional teams regarding adherance to collective bargain agreements.   This position will require travel (variable).   Ability for future relocation desirable.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  BS/BA degree, Masters a plus, with a minimum of 10-15 years overall Human Resources background (with solid tenure), including experience in a plant environment (chemical, manufacturing or related).   Must have hands-on experience in both union and non-union environment.   Labor relations experience to include grievance processes, arbitration and contract negotiations.  Change management and process improvement experience.   Must have strong communications (verbal/written), influencing  and consultative skills.   Computer proficiency in Office Suite of tools and HRIS.
